An awareness and outreach programme ‘SUNEPAN SE KILKARIYON KI AUR’ was organised by Military Hospital Bhopal to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the hospital and five successful years of ART Centre in assisting sub fertile couples achieve parenthood . The chief guest for the program was Mrs Chandni Shinghal Regional president, AWWA . The event was organised under the guidance of Brig Vivek Vasdev the Commandant of Military Hospital Bhopal and his team.
The highlight of the programme was a dance drama by school kids portraying the social stigma a woman faces because of infertility and how science and technology assists her realise the dream of motherhood through Assisted Reproductive Techniques. In addition a social awareness talk to send home a message that a woman is complete even without motherhood unlike what the society perceives was delivered by Col Nikita Naredi the ART specialist of ART Centre Bhopal. The title of the talk was “क्या मातृत्व ही औरत का अस्तित्त्व है?“
The grand finale was in the form of unveiling of the statue of a happy family at the hospital front lawn depicting the achievement of hope and completeness of parenthood by the chief guest.
