Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Air Officer Commanding -in-Chief, South Western Air Command accompanied with Mrs Richa Tiwari, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional) SWAC arrived Air Force Station Lohegaon, Pune on 25 May 2023 for two days visit, after having assumed the command of SWAC. They were received by Air Commodore Shekhar Yadav, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Pune and Mrs Sonu Yadav, President AFFWA (L). On arrival, the Air Marshal was presented with the Ceremonial Guard of Honour.
The Air Marshal was briefed on Station activities and its operational preparedness. The AOC-in-C complimented the personnel of the Base for their combat readiness, highlighted the new age challenges and urged them to be fully prepared to handle these in a professional manner.
