BEHES: Nurturing young debaters and leaders for holistic development

The Lexicon Schools proudly present Behes Pune Round, an inter-school debate competition. This initiative seeks to foster holistic development and instill confidence in young minds through engaging formats of debate, elocution, and public speaking.

BEHES, employing a simplified parliamentary format with two teams of three speakers each, is not merely a local competition but a stepping stone to the esteemed Maha Behes National Finals in July 2024 for the top-performing teams. The Lexicon Schools have seamlessly integrated this format into their curriculum, ensuring that students acquire robust public speaking skills essential for navigating real-world challenges.
Scheduled for December 16th and 17th, 2023, at the Lexicon International School Wagholi, the BEHES Pune round provides students with an exclusive platform to sharpen their critical thinking and analytical abilities. Registrations, processed on a first-come, first-served basis, will close on December 14th. The event underscores the importance of substantive arguments, urging participants to delve into the core of the topic. It concludes with a knockout format, announcing one winning team and one outstanding speaker.
