A state-of-the-art Auditorium named Takshshila Smriti, was inaugurated on 19/02/2024 by Admiral R. Hari Kumar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, at DIAT, Pune, in the presence of Dr. S. Christopher, Former Secretary, DDR&D and Chairman, DRDO, Shri Purushottam Bej, DG (R&M), Dr. Manu Korulla, Director, DCW&E and DMS, DRDO HQ, faculty & staff including students.
The key features of the auditorium include two-way audio and video system, offering seamless communication and connectivity for various events, lectures, and presentations. The Bose technology incorporated into the auditorium ensures crystal-clear sound and high-definition visuals which creates an immersive atmosphere for the audience.
The state-of-the-art auditorium, equipped with the latest technology and modern amenities ensures providing an enriched learning environment for its students and faculty. The new Auditorium designed with sophisticated interior that reflects the university’s dedication to excellence having total seating capacity of 172 participants, the facility provides ample space for conferences, seminars, workshops, and cultural events. The said project has executed by the Chief Executive CC (R&D), West and Team.
On this occasion, Dr. C. P. Ramanarayanan, Vice Chancellor- DIAT thanked to CCE-W and Director, DCW&E, stating, that “This auditorium is DIAT’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for learning, innovation, and cultural exchange. He further expressed that this facility will enhance the overall experience of students and contribute to the academic excellence.”
