The city of Pune is gearing up for a historic night as A.R. Rahman brings his first-ever stadium concert to MCA Stadium, Gahunje. The event promises an unforgettable musical experience featuring India’s most iconic voices Hariharan, Sukhwinder Singh, and Chinmayi performing alongside the Maestro A.R.Rahman himself.
Beyond music, the evening will also celebrate artistic excellence with the presentation of the first “R.K. Laxman Award for Excellence”a tribute to the legendary cartoonist whose timeless creations continue to inspire generations. The award honours individuals whose work reflects R.K. Laxman’s values of perseverance, creativity, and purpose.
This year, the first “R.K. Laxman Award for Excellence” will be presented to Aamir Khan (Actor, Director, and Producer) for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema and storytelling.
