Cargill Kurkumbh Plant bags the prestigious Apex India Excellence Awards 2018 in Health & Safety and Energy Efficiency category

In the recently hosted Apex India Excellence Awards 2018, Cargill’s Kurkumbh Plant was awarded two Gold Award under the Health & Safety and Energy Efficiency category. Organized by the Apex India Foundation with the aim to honor organizations and individuals who have contributed towards the betterment of society through their work, this award was a commemoration of the consistent efforts by Cargill to ensure the overall safety of their teams operating the plant is the top priority. The award was given by IOSH President Prof Vincent Ho and Retired Major General Shri P K Saighal, at a gala award ceremony held in New Delhi. Apart from being equipped with state-of-the-art technology and following stringent specifications and norms, Cargill’s Kurkumbh Plant maneuvers various exercises like consolidations of refinery, stable operations, reliability excellency programs for continuous improvement, suggestion box, SGA tool etc. to improve efficiencies in terms of energy and productivity of entire plant. Cargill is committed to deliver “Zero Harm” across their manufacturing location. To strengthen this journey, we have unique safety initiatives likes’ serious injury and fatality prevention program, people and process safety including HOP (Human and Organizational Performance) to eliminate human errors at work place.
